Job Description:

Technology is at the heart of running great restaurants and a critical element of every major initiative underway within McDonald’s. And over the next three years, we will modernize much of this technology as we deploy our new Restaurant Platform across the US, modernizing our POS and back office hardware, our network infrastructure and our digital menu board hardware.
We are looking for a highly skilled Director to lead the deployment of the restaurant platform across the US. This leader will be responsible for the team who will deploy these three critical initiatives across the US.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the deployment function for the restaurant platform technologies, including site assessments, site readiness and deployment for Edge Compute, Digital Menu Board upgrades and our new, modernized network
* Establish and nurture the deployment organization, helping to build deployment skills in a newly created team
* Drive improvements and modernization in how we deploy, finding efficiencies and optimizations along the way
* Build alignment within a complex organization
* Collaborate with Owner Operators, ensuring that advocacy of Deployment, Hardware, and Support is well understood within the Operator Community
* Establish and drive a data-driven culture, using facts and data to make decisions
* Lead a team of managers - provide strategic vision for the department while also balancing near term deliverables
* Deliver concise, compelling, data driven business recommendations as you update the leadership team and decision-makers on project status and progress

The expected salary range for this role is $168,350-$218,860 per year.

Qualifications:

* Computer Science / Engineering degree
* 10+ years of technically focused experience
* To be a change agent and have a strong passion for improving process
* Retail technology experience with a focus on operations in a highly distributed environment
* Broad experience across the IT SDLC including development, deployment and support, as well as multidisciplinary expertise in financial, vendor management, communications and driving results in a global organization
* Ability to build and leverage talent, inspire & promote teamwork leading to the development of high performing teams, regardless of reporting lines
* Strong ability to partner, negotiate and influence: peers and other technology leaders, leaders from other functions, and owner/operators
