Department Overview
MGO India is seeking a qualified Finance Professional to join as Supervisor. Resources will provide VRO support across all modules, including financial modelling, financial analysis, development of savings tools and trackers for CFOs and market teams, and ongoing updates to actuals within business cases. This support will also include building CFO savings trackers, GI module savings validation templates, COE templates, and delivering ad hoc analyses as required.
Duties
- Accounting operations – Ensure appropriate accounting for all projects and support the monthly book-close process.
- Conduct ongoing review of actuals throughout the month and update POET coding to ensure all costs in the GBS Transformation cost center are properly aligned to the relevant business case.
- Review PyXis uploads for the project team; work with the PM to ensure roster and accounting details are accurately reflected by role; and upload the roster weekly to Oracle Fusion.
- FP&A
- Manage the Transformation project budget, including Plan, Projection, and Actuals, and complete all deliverables requested by the Global FP&A team, including ad hoc analyses, accelerated timelines, and participation in FP&A meetings.
- Translate and reconcile business case financials to McDonald’s P&L and other budgets, including functional and market budgets. Oversee and track all transfers between budgets, including savings and costs.
- Updating Program Business Cases
- Update the business case as we go through each phase of the program:
- Update, validate, and align savings with multiple stakeholders during and after each business case phase, including Global Design, Localization, Talent Selection, and Go-live.
- Update and maintain project staffing and future-state staffing in India.
- Update run-rate and one-time costs for monthly actuals, signed contracts, and other relevant inputs.
- Track and report benefit realization. Once savings are aligned and agreed, partner with OA and Finance leaders to ensure agreed savings are delivered and realized in the P&L.
- Prepare change control summaries. Every change to the business case must be documented and shared with SteerCo for awareness and/or approval.
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly VRO reporting on business case performance and value realization.
- Update the business case as we go through each phase of the program:
- Strategic Finance Business Partner to Module Lead
- Develop scenario models to calculate the financial impact of key program decisions.
- Identify savings levers to offset incremental costs and develop tools and analyses for Module and function leaders to enable savings identification.
- Maintain and quantify risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis.
- Support SteerCo preparation, including developing materials and attending monthly SteerCo meetings for each module.
- Chargebacks – Assist in developing the allocation and chargeback methodology for each transformation project; execute and calculate allocations and chargebacks; and communicate outcomes to all customers. This work is performed by the VRO COE, not the program managers or supervisors.
- Ad Hoc
- Support preparation of materials for program and SLT leadership meetings, Audit & Finance Committee meetings, and Program SteerCo meetings.
- Maintain the system of record for project team rosters, including start and end dates, to support recurring data requests from HR, Facilities, and other stakeholders.
- Provide financial support to MGOs and maintain ongoing linkage with business cases.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree from a reputed institute.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial modelling/FP&A.
