Department Overview
The Field Franchising Supervisor is responsible for supporting and delivering key franchising processes related to site development, deal management, candidate assessment, and applicant onboarding. This role partners closely with Field Offices, Operations, and cross‑functional team members to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance throughout the franchising lifecycle. The Field Franchising Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining governance standards, advancing qualified candidates, and facilitating seamless transitions from approval through execution.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Deal Management and Tracker Oversight
- Initiate and manage new deals within the Sales Between Operators (SBO) tracker upon receipt of a Business Acquisition Plan (BAP)
- Review executed contracts (including Purchase and Sale Agreements and Gift Letters) following the required post‑BAP waiting period to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Validate key contractual elements such as effective dates, correct selling and buying entities and ownership structures, required signatures, and the absence of prohibited clauses
- Accurately record and maintain all relevant deal data within tracking systems
New Site Award Coordination
- Support new site socialization processes by coordinating site details with appropriate internal partners, based on assigned Field Office responsibilities
- Monitor progress of New Site Awards through all approval stages, including offer issuance, Owner/Operator acceptance, and Field Vice President approval
- Proactively follow up with cross‑functional partners to ensure timely completion and issuance of offer letters to Owner/Operators
Deal Approval and Governance Support
- Determine when deals require formal approvals pursuant to Performance and Policy Guidelines (PPGs)
- Prepare, initiate, and track Initial Deal Approval Forms within internal tracking tools
- Follow up with approvers and interested parties to ensure adherence to established approval timelines
Candidate Panel Interview Participation
- Review candidate pre‑read materials, including applications, resumes, and biographical information, in advance of scheduled panel interviews
- Participate as an interview panelist using standardized interview guides
- Provide clear, documented recommendations regarding candidate progression based on defined evaluation criteria
Registered Applicant Training Facilitation
- Assist Registered Applicants in identifying appropriate training restaurants using Field Office‑approved lists of qualified training organizations
- Evaluate geographic feasibility by assessing candidate location and identifying suitable training sites within reasonable drive times
- Coordinate with Operations leadership to secure approval for proposed training placements
- Engage training operators to confirm willingness and availability to support candidate training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Prior experience in franchising, field operations, real estate development, deal administration, or a related corporate environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes involving multiple partners, deadlines, and approval workflows
- Experience reviewing and validating contractual documents, with strong attention to detail and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with deal tracking systems, workflow tools, or CRM platforms; ability to accurately input, manage, and audit data
- Proven capability to coordinate cross‑functional activities with Field Offices, Operations, and leadership teams
- Experience participating in structured interview processes and providing objective candidate evaluations
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and follow‑up skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including professional interaction with internal partners, candidates, and operators
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and operate within established governance and policy frameworks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internal systems required to support franchising operations

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $78,281.00 - $97,852.00 per year
