Department Overview
This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) Supply Chain team, where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald’s works. We provide best-in-class foundational technology products and services enabling and supporting Supply Chain applications. This role specifically will be focused on ownership of applications and the EPP Supply Chain Delivery Management team.
The Senior Product Manager will anticipate and manage the strategic and tactical needs of the team. You will work with various global partners and stakeholders, including distributors, suppliers, and markets, as well as internal teams responsible for security, platform, and data management. This role is crucial in driving outcomes for the Global Supply Chain team, managing agile product and process improvements, enhancing user experience and adoption, and ensuring alignment with both Global and Market Supply Chain teams.
Duties
- Accountable for managing projects using Agile through all ceremonies working with the team.
- Understands customer issues while converting them into problem statements and provides out-of-box solutions using design thinking.
- Acts as scrum leader, working with teams to drive improved agile behaviors and support PI planning activities.
- Manage project plans, roadmaps, and execution to achieve the project goal using Agile.
- Manage project changes by using appropriate verification techniques to keep the project on track.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to supervise the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all collaborators.
- Align collaborators and team members by ensuring a common understanding of expectations for the project.
- Work to implement approved actions and workarounds to mitigate risks 8.
- Document high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment to understand project limitations.
- Lead the adoption of key takeaways from project retrospectives.
- Improve team performance by leading, mentoring, training, and presenting effectively.
- Act as a mentor with the adoption of PMO processes and standards.
- Leverage knowledge of and experience with the following: Define project roles, responsibilities, methodology, tools, and best practices.
- Identify and/or elevate ideas for improving the delivery model offer and methodologies.
- Solve difficult problems impacting a team or project; identify ways to improve current customer needs.
- Manages budget and advises activities of the project teams.
- Contributes to features from ideation, implementation, deployment all the way through maintenance and support.
- Collaborating with other product teams, technical architects, developers, and tech leads to understanding and guiding the technology roadmap.
- Verifies the results of testing and raises defects/issues against the features owned. Tracks defects to ensure resolutions are implemented.
- Supports the end-to-end testing of the feature and provides sign-off for the code release into production.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple diverse stakeholders across the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certifications (e.g., PSM, CSM) preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- 6-8 years of project management experience, including leading projects.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management and Agile Scrum Practices.
- Experience coaching client teams on effective consulting for projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present facts, thoughts, and ideas clearly and concisely to senior management stakeholders.
- Direct experience working in an Agile team, preferably as a Scrum Master.
- Ability to create presentations and status reports for senior leadership.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple key business priorities.
- Experience in project budgeting.

Salary Range
for this role is $149,260.00 - $190,310.00 per year
