Department Overview
The TCO Data & Analytics team was established to deliver greater technology financial governance through active management of global technology financial tools to better manage build and run costs . This specific role within the team offers an individual the opportunity to continue to transform our Technology financial reporting and cost optimization ambitions. The role is responsible for the processes and tools that support Global and US Technology Investment investments. It provides an opportunity to develop skills in the areas of reporting analytics, data management, project financial management, communication, technology/financial systems, influencing and stakeholder engagement. The individual will develop a strong understanding of the Global and U.S. businesses and participate in efforts to drive management efficiencies across the system. Key customers include cross-functional teams across the entire Global Technology organization, US and Global Finance, and Global Tech Strategy.
Duties
Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of Tech Investment Financials including:
* Develop and Maintain tools and date flows to support Technology annual planning process ensuring:
o Consistent data collection with details of projects, spend, resources and spread across all Technology products
o Enabling Leadership insights for decision making through the PowerBI Platform
o Supplying of information to Corporate Financial and Corporate Strategy platforms
* Develop and maintain the process and tools for managing financial projections for technology:
o Enable leadership to draw actionable insights and decision making via the PowerBI Reporting Platform
o Ensure availability of reporting for leadership reviews, with a focus on understanding key components impacting results
o Improve and maintain a consistent process for product owners to track budget vs. actuals and maintain accurate financial projections
o Develop and maintain the technology to enable Franchisee Leadership review of quarterly Tech Investment spend against plan and projections
* Assist the Department with essential financial activities including:
o Employee Headcount Planning by product
o Building and supporting management reporting across multiple functions
o Managing and providing insights to corporate tax for cost allocation activities and R&D tax credit opportunities. Relationship Management
o Build trust and rapport with key customers; builds strong relationships between teams within US IT, USORT, Global Tech, Tax, BAS, and related business teams
o Provide training and coaching to the team on financial processes and controls
* Maintain detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems and identify integration, alignment and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years’ experience with Multi-Project Financial Management and/or Finance Planning
* Significant statistical analysis and reporting experience
* Ability to structure and quickly synthesize large volumes of data to develop reporting that allows customers to achieve actionable insights
* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Ability to interact with customers at a variety of levels and across multiple functions
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to anticipate customer needs
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities
* Knowledge of general accounting principles
Additional Skills, System/Tool Experience, Other Optional Requirements:
* Highly proficient with Excel, PowerBI and SmartSheet
* McDonald’s restaurant technology experience preferred
* Project Management experience preferred

Benefits Eligible: Yes
Salary Range
Salary Ranges-$129,800.00 - $165,490.00
