Job Description:

Proper Change Management is a critical success factor in growth at McDonald's. We support Change at McDonald's through a McDonald's Change Center of Excellence (COE). The Change COE partners with leaders to enable the human side of transformation, ensuring people adopt the changes needed to promote the long-term success of our business. As a member of the Change COE, you will be a part of a team building something new. You'll succeed by being a seeker of innovation, a self-starter, and a collaborative and strategic partner for our customers. We'll ensure you have the tools to take advantage of the growth opportunities we're excited to provide.

McDonald's Change COE is seeking a Sr. Manager, Change Partner. The Change Partner manages a portfolio of Change programs or products for a specific function or platform within the Enterprise. This role is additionally responsible for overseeing the progress of medium-high complexity change programs, maintaining alignment and integration with key stakeholders, driving change intake discussions, and contributing to the Change capability development. The Change Partner can also be deployed to change programs within their alignment. This role will report to the Director - Change Partner COE within the Global Business Solutions functions supporting the Consumer and Restaurant Platforms.

What will you do?

Drive Adoption with One McDonald's Way of Doing Change

  • Understand how Change contributes to McDonald's strategy and priorities
  • Collaborate with business partners to scope and deliver Change support requests
  • Advise and coach leaders on Change Management decisions to align with McDonald's methodology
  • Facilitate Change delivery using McDonald's framework and resources
  • Conduct stakeholder and change impact analysis to identify project impacts/risks
  • Gather and incorporate feedback on value realization, including KPI development and measurements
  • Lead and create change deliverables and processes to advance change plan activation
  • Utilize Center of Excellence partners for subject matter expertise
  • Translate business priorities into high-impact Change programs
  • Provide change management training and development as needed

Develop and Mentor Your People

  • Coach and mentor junior resources to foster a collaborative and inclusive COE culture
  • Provide clarity on the big picture and broader McDonald's strategy
  • Exhibit strong executive presence with a coaching mindset; develop change champions and drive cultural transformation
  • Manage external consulting partners to ensure SOW delivery

Support Growth of Change Knowledge across the Enterprise

  • Understand the Change Framework and support training for partners, practitioners, and business leaders
  • Provide input and document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs with partners
  • Identify influential partners and inspire Change initiatives on specific projects
  • Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes across senior leadership, segment and market leadership, frontline employees, and external partners
  • Create compelling storytelling and present insights to drive alignment

The expected salary range for this role is $129,800 - $165,490 per year

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years in consulting and change management
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or related field.

  • Master's degree in business management, human resources, or a related field is preferred.

  • Certified in industry standard frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ACPMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement)

  • Strong communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills
  • Deep understanding of change frameworks (e.g., Kotter's 8-Step Model, Prosci ADKAR, McKinsey 7S)
  • Experience leading large-scale digital transformations or operational changes
  • Expertise in delivering change strategy and execution within the product development life cycle
  • Proven ability to convert strategic objectives into actionable workstreams
  • Understanding of technology and digital adoption trends
  • Proficiency in using KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to measure change adoption and impact
  • Experienced leveraging feedback loops and employee sentiment to adjust strategies
  • Advanced level project, portfolio, and change management skills
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and collaborative technologies                                

Experience Preferred

  • Experience in strategic advisory and influencing leaders
  • Designing and executing project plans requiring funding proposals
  • Managing multiple program and project teams for low to high complexity Change programs/projects
  • Maintain influence with business leaders to drive alignment and ensure proper business engagement
  • Familiarity with QSR, Retail, or Fortune 500 operations
