Job Description:The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) team is a newly formed team within McDonald's Global Technology's Strategic Planning team, and we hiring for an innovative and proactive Specialist, TCO Analysis & Planning to join the team! This person will support the team that leads the technology product pricing, product cost templates and communications for a portfolio of technology products / services being offered by MCD Global Technology. A key aspect of this role will be to support TCO team in working closely with technology product / service owners that are assigned to specific product portfolios.
This individual will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of what value each product / service provides in enabling owner operator’s success; and what the key cost drivers are. The Specialist will also learn how to implement and maintain the SAAS model and execution of technology products pricing strategy while working alongside the other TCO team members.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support the TCO team in completing key outputs (i.e., Global Market Charges Guide) in a deadline-conscious environment.
- Maintain detailed product offerings SKU pricing excel templates, work with inter-company billing team in reporting actual market billings, assist in forecasting the end of year cost recovery for each SKU.
- Understand overall global technology’s vision, standard pricing models and determine appropriate pricing strategy for different product portfolios.
- Work closely with chargeback and intercompany billing team in understanding the technology products billing cadence and related process.
- Collaborate with product owners in developing a detailed product-centric plans for major products and creating pro-forma TCO templates for smaller offerings.
- Identify, establish, and support in supervising appropriate value KPIs to gather and discuss the value of global technology products for markets / segments.
- Maintain relationships with internal functions and external teams (as needed), inclusive of managing external deliverables and establishing relationships across functions.
- Provide regular updates and raise any risks, issues, actions, or decisions as needed to the TCO team leads.
- Work to continuously improve the existing processes and workstreams (streamlining processes, exploring tools, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or similar.
- 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Experience explaining complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to drive collaboration.
- Able to work independently, often balancing competing and changing priorities.
- Understanding of IT product value and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
