Job Description:

mCDP the McDonald’s name for our new personalized marketing technology stack, build out of Braze and mParticle, with a wide variety of input feed sources. As mCDP Data Integration Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing the marketing customer data platform roadmap and execution from a data requirements standpoint. You will work closely with other customer data source systems, global mobile applications, and market stakeholders to define and execute this roadmap. The mCDP Data Integration Manager will help drive the transformation of the way McDonald’s engages with its customers, using real time data to drive improved personalization and overall reach across the globe.

This role is based at our McDonald’s Global Headquarters in Chicago, IL.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the mCDP Data Integration Manager role on the Global Technology Architecture and Data team. This role will manage, develop, and lead the execution and implementation of an event-messaging system for the McDonald’s marketing customer data platform. The candidate for this role must have experience in digital product management, data analytics, and necessary soft-skills to manage stakeholders across the organization.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations for the Marketing Customer Data Platform (mCDP) development, testing, and infrastructure monitoring teams, with both onshore and offshore resources
  • Participate in and at times lead the solution, design, implementation and support activities for the overall mCDP product
  • Work with data source systems to ensure data quality metrics are in place and monitored on an ongoing basis, to ensure reliability and accuracy of mCDP data for our global marketing teams
  • Develop strategy and lead execution of data validation activities for markets coming onto the mCDP product to ensure successful data migration is
  • Attend weekly product education and Q&A sessions with markets who are coming onto the mCDP product
  • Support budget and resource management for mCDP product development, testing, and infrastructure monitoring teams
  • Partner with Global Marketing Customer Experience team to identify new, breakthrough marketing use cases to bring into mCDP product suite
Qualifications:

Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.

  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience in a technical, data analytics implementation roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in analytical field
  • Experience in customer data / digital product management
  • Experience leading multiple complex, cross-functional projects in parallel
  • Strong analytics skills, root cause analysis experiences on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions and improve application performance
  • Comfortable partnering and working with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels of management and leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to executive level stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with ability to set priorities and mentor others in a performance driven environment
  • Passion for technology and innovation & uncompromising attention to detail

Desired Skills

  • Extensive experience working with Agile methodologies and expertise in production deployment processes and continuous deployment best practices
  • Experience working with AWS product suite
  • Experience working with mParticle and Braze SaaS products
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex teams including testing & production support teams
  • Experience developing Confluence pages and working with Jira
