Job Description:

The RGM lead will lead MCD US efforts in driving long term, sustainable, profitable guest count growth while delivering value and affordability to guests. This role is responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams including (but not limited to) global pricing/RGM, marketing (affordability, menu/strategy, and CX), strategic insights, and related field functions to make strategic decisions across value levers (e.g., Core Menu, Mass Promotions, Differentiated Rewards and Offers), subsequently ensuring decisions are executed, evaluating success of decisions, and pivoting where needed.

  • Lead RGM, ensuring alignment with McDonald’s corporate goals and vision statement. Set a clear, ambitious, vision for sustainable and profitable guest count growth consistent with value and affordability guiding principles and KPIs.
  • Set differentiating RGM strategy aligned with MCD’s corporate strategy and RGM vision and guiding principles. Lead consistent communication of and ensure Value Lever Group leads are consistently executing and measuring against holistic RGM strategy.
  • Ensure all RGM efforts (e.g., pricing, promotions, loyalty) across the company are effective, standardized, and optimized for maximum impact.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional leads (including Global RGM, Marketing, Finance, Menu, and Strategic Insights, and Field Offices), ensuring strategic alignment and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain a deep, comprehensive understanding of the QSR market, consumer trends, macro-environment, and competitive landscape. Stay ahead of industry shifts and competitor moves to defend MCD’s leadership position.
  • Provide visionary leadership, coordinating analytical initiatives to unlock new insights and inform RGM priorities
  • Ensure proper impact tracking of holistic strategy and outcomes against RGM guiding principles, KPIs, and scorecards, ensuring teams have the metrics and insights required and recommending changes to course-correct as needed
  • Mentor, coach, and develop the RGM team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation

The expected salary range for this role is $193,610 - $251,690 per year

Qualifications:
  • At least 12 years relevant experience in an RGM environment or related functions with a strong strategic & analytical background pricing, marketing, and strategic finance
  • A track record of translating strategies into actionable results, simplifying complex concepts, and delivering impactful outcomes
  • Extensive functional and technical understanding of pricing, promotions, and product mix management.
  • Experience in functions associated with pricing, promotions, sales, CX or loyalty
  • Experience Developing future leaders and high performing teams, ensuring the right leaders are in the right roles to delivery on the business strategy and coaching people leaders and holding them accountable to developing and growing their teams
  • Demonstrated ability to set, manage and optimize RGM strategies & affordability/value visions
  • Capacity to set, assess, and ensure adherence to KPIs and guardrails both at the corporate level and in the field
