Job Description:

This position will reside within McDonald’s Global Supply Chain under the Global Services organization. The team is a dynamic, progressive department which contributes directly to the bottom-line performance of the company. Global Supply Chain consults with leaders throughout the company and supports initiatives that are driving McDonald’s into the future.  To further advance our strategic capabilities and efficiency, Supply Chain has launched a Supplier Performance/Relationship Management team, which this position will support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and monitoring the future pipeline of SPM initiatives across GSC.
  • Accountable for support of SPM campaigns, including user set-up, process troubleshooting, data collection, initial analyzation, and reporting.
  • Own and manage the post-SPM survey process, including distribution, collection, and trend analyzation.
  • Contribute to the creation of future SPM processes and templates
    • Monitor and manage once implemented
  • Monitor and track several of the current on-going SPM improvement initiatives.
  • Support the overall goal of standardization while still assuring that the process meets stakeholder needs.
  • Support future growth of the SPM processes & team by actively contributing to the goal setting, annual planning, and resource process.
  • Continue to help drive visibility of the team and processes within the overall GSC team.
Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proactively communicates relevant information to keep key parties to inform of progress and potential roadblocks.
  • Ability to think critically and structure analyses to solve ambiguous problems.
  • Ability to focus attention on what matters most, reprioritizing frequently to support dynamic business needs.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships, frequently and consistently connecting with stakeholders
  • Drive & patience to partner with stakeholders through the process.
  • Communicate effectively, in both written and oral methods with all levels.
  • Familiarity with supply chain process.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting multiple categories and stakeholders at one time.
  • Advance Excel skills a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree required, preferred in Supply Chain, Business Management, or STEM.
  • 3+ years’ experience in supply chain or commensurate experience in related functions.
