There's two exciting opportunities available to join our Global Technology team as a Restaurant Technology Analyst on 12-month fixed term contract. Based at our head office in Thornleigh, the successful candidate will join the restaurant technology team to play a key role in delivering technical solutions to our restaurants.

What are the main focus points of the role? 

  • Maintaining point-of-sale menu layouts, recipe information, raw menu items and price changes
  • Managing the configuration and implementation of new restaurant products and promotions
  • Performing quality assurance and testing of solutions prior to restaurant deployment
  • Facilitating the alignment of IT and business units for master file maintenance activities across Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands
  • Taking part in the configuration and execution of restaurant technology solutions which include Point of Sale (POS), Kiosk, Mobile Order and Pay Platforms

What skills do I need to be successful in the role? 

  • Keen interest in the IT side of the McDonald’s restaurant environment and ideally have operational experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management and execution skills
  • Process orientated
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Keen Eye for detail and quality
  • A formal qualification in Information Technology is desirable
