With new restaurant openings driving significant growth in the Australian market each year, our National Development Group is at the heart of McDonald's expansion strategy. As the Project Delivery Manager, you will bring your advanced town planning and development experience to support the company's ambitious new restaurant growth targets. Bring your extensive experience in the Development Application (DA) submission process to the largest Quick Service Restaurant in the country and apply today!
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
- Managing the Development Application (DA) process inclusive of document preparation, developer liaison and approvals management
- Managing and interacting with key consultants including; Legal, Town Planning, Acoustic, Engineering and architectural
- Managing relationships and interactions with Council, attending and speaking at Council/Panel meetings
- Managing identification/review/application/approval of portfolio applications for trading hours extensions/continuation of trials
- Reviewing DA application packages prior to lodgment and provide feedback on McDonald’s specific and planning information
- Gathering information and advising on planning issues related to proposed, existing or leased sites
- Reporting key development progress and milestone to internal stakeholders and departments
Your keys to success:
* An experienced planner looking at complimenting and further building your skills in the development space
* Bachelor’s degree in Town Planning
* At least 5 years experience in development application management
* Exposure to the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry
* Well organised, demonstrated project management skills; able to set and work to deadlines
