What You’ll Be Doing:
As a People Business Partner at McDonalds, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our people strategy, partnering with senior leadership teams to build organisational capability and foster a culture where people thrive. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, driving people initiatives that align with business objectives and create lasting impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with leadership teams to help build organisation and people capability, resolving strategic business challenges, and embedding a high-performance culture.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, coaching and developing senior leaders on all people-related matters to maximise their impact.
- Delivering a commercially focused HR service, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with UK employment law and company policies.
- Driving a performance-led culture, influencing people strategies and embedding McDonalds values at all levels.
- Managing high-level employee relations, handling complex issues with both a strategic and operational approach.
- Collaborating with specialist HR functions (Talent, Reward, Learning & Development, People Relations) to provide expert advice and holistic HR solutions.
- Supporting organisational design and change management, ensuring the business structure enables future growth.
- Coaching Talent Acquisition partners to enhance recruitment processes and improve candidate and manager experience.
- Providing guidance to the People Services Helpdesk, helping to build capability and support HR operational excellence.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role, within a global brand.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into impactful people solutions.
- A passion for coaching senior leadership, helping them enhance their leadership effectiveness.
- Expertise in UK employment law and employee relations, with a strong problem-solving and compliance-focused mindset.
- The ability to build trusted relationships across a complex organisation and influence key stakeholders.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive culture and championing diverse perspectives.
- Experience in organisational design and change management is a plus.
