Our Mexico City Office will be a hub for technology innovation and operational support to help us build the solutions that will improve our customer, crew and employee experience each and every day.

Job Description:

The Mexico Office Manager & Project Coordinator plays a dual role in supporting project management and office operations for McDonald’s Global Office in Mexico City. This position ensures the successful execution of strategic initiatives while maintaining smooth day-to-day office functions.  

The role reports to the Mexico Site Lead and collaborates with local and global functions and teams to ensure alignment and delivery of key initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Program Management

  • Partner with functional leaders to define project strategies, timelines, and workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, track deliverables, and manage interdependencies.
  • Coordinate governance forums and project status meetings, ensuring clear communication of decisions and action items.
  • Monitor project metrics, risks, and issues, and support timely reporting across all workstreams.
  • Create executive-ready materials including status updates, onboarding/offboarding guides, and key communications.
  • Support change management efforts and capture lessons learned to improve future initiatives.

Office & Administrative Management

  • Oversee daily office operations, including supply management and facility coordination.
  • Organize internal meetings and global visits, handling logistics such as catering, transportation, and room setup.
  • Manage visitor protocols and provide executive-level administrative support for site needs.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure teams have the resources needed to operate effectively.
  • Support internal communications in partnership with functional and corporate teams.

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in program and project management, preferably supporting large-scale, global initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex project plans, track deliverables, and coordinate across multiple workstreams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Agile and adaptable mindset with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience managing core PMO functions such as risk and issue tracking, change control, resource coordination, and status reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional partnerships and align stakeholders around shared goals, particularly in support of site-level operations in Mexico.
