Job Description:

As the Manager Tech Lead for Mobile App Deployment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient deployment of mobile applications. You will lead efforts to automate and optimize deployment processes, working closely with development and DevOps teams to maintain high standards of quality and security. Your responsibilities will include developing automation strategies, managing CI/CD pipelines, and driving initiatives to reduce manual intervention. You will also collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment workflows, ultimately improving the overall development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help frame the vision for global mobile app deployments market adoption across 80+ countries.
  • Define, develop, and implement targeted strategies to optimize global mobile application deployments at large scale, through outstanding change management practices.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key collaborators and executive sponsors across international markets and the Global Product teams to evangelize new ways of working for Mobile App Deployments.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement iterative evolutions of tools, technologies, and processes to drive scalability, efficiency, and higher quality of deployment processes.
  • Collaborate closely with enterprise DevOps teams to craft comprehensive automation strategies for mobile deployment processes, integrating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Fastlane, while demonstrating strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Ensure efficient deployment processes across various environments by crafting and implementing automated testing frameworks and security protocols for high-quality, secure releases.
  • Drive automation projects to reduce manual intervention and streamline deployment processes.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in large-scale global mobile application deployments technical and functional processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Experience in transforming and modernizing processes through implementing technical processes and evolving cross-team ways of working.
  • Experience leading multiple sophisticated, cross-functional projects in parallel, including prioritizing major initiatives and negotiating trade-offs with business collaborators.
  • Deep knowledge of mobile technologies on the iOS and Android platforms, especially related to beta, canary, and production release processes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automation, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience in crafting and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
