Description
As Manager of U.S. Sourcing Strategy responsible for Packaging and Toys, you will report to the Director of U.S. Sourcing Strategy and play a pivotal role in shaping sourcing strategies that prioritize collaboration and resiliency. You will leverage systems thinking, strong communication skills, and a partnership mindset to deliver integrated solutions and foster trust cross-functionally. Success requires adaptability, curiosity, and close partnership with vendors, internal teams, operators, and global counterparts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the U.S. Packaging and Toys categories and apply systems thinking to develop and deliver on short- and long-term strategies in line with enterprise objectives.
- Build and nurture strategic supplier partnership with vendors to align priorities, enable innovation and agility, and ensure long-term resiliency.
- Collaborate across Marketing, Menu Strategy, Operations, US SC functions, Government Relations (GR), and global teams to deliver integrated, agile solutions.
- Provide strategic leadership across a rapidly evolving packaging regulatory landscape by assessing emerging legislation and shaping long‑term sourcing strategies that ensure compliance and resiliency.
- Engage operators to align on category priorities, uncover opportunities, and drive improvements in value, quality, and system performance.
- Develop and execute annual and long-term sourcing strategies focused on sustainability, risk mitigation, and value creation.
- Champion digital tools and data-driven decision-making to improve transparency and strengthen collaboration.
- Strategically provide oversight over all category financials including price forecasting, geo-political impacts, liabilities, and cost savings initiatives.
- Lead cross-category projects through collaboration that foster curiosity, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or related functions.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Established expertise in critical thinking and problem solving.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and external partners.
- Excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills with a focus on delivering results.
Salary Range
The expected salary range range -$115,872.00 - $144,840.00 per year
