Job Description
The Manager, People Experience (US People Insights and Analytics) designs, evangelizes, and leads People insights and analytics frameworks, advising internal teams utilizing data-infused storytelling to continuously improve our People Strategy.
- Act as a People analytics consultant for the Field People team and O/Os on People data, reporting, and analytics-related topics.
- Build close partnerships with the Field People team to address their business problems using People data and insights.
- Perform analysis of relevant People metrics, internal and external labor markets to uncover trends in the data and proactively share findings with appropriate stakeholders.
- Provide People strategy, planning, rewards, and engagement analysis to support EVP/Rewards, Talent, Staffing, and other corporate functions.
- Drive the adoption of PDW and other people analytics solutions within the McDonald’s system (Field teams, OO, PELs, etc.).
- Upskill internal US Field People Team talent with insights capability.
- Create and manage US People, National, and Field resources, dashboards, and reports.
Responsibilities
Reporting:
- Prepare monthly data templates to insert FO/BU/McOpCo data as needed.
- Generate monthly national staffing trends reports for OO & McOpCo.
- Track quarterly KPIs for FO/BU/McOpCo/Districts.
- Compile quarterly quintile reports for FO.
- Create ad hoc reports based on prioritization.
- Provide program reporting (e.g., listening, EVP, etc.).
Research and Insights:
- Receive and analyze findings to inform plans (e.g., PBS & turnover).
- Offer specialized diagnostic support tied to key people business metrics.
- Deliver insights presentations to FO/McOpCo.
Consulting & Education:
- Upskill Field HR L&D teams (Ops/FBPs TBD) on PDW basics (Q3/Q4) and enhanced training for 2024.
- Educate PEL BU Leads on PDW key concepts through Q4 virtual and in-person sessions (prioritized).
- Provide thought partnership to Field Alignment MHQ teams.
- Formalize processes for handling questions, support requests, etc.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in People Analytics, People Experience, Management Consulting, Social Science Research, or a related field. McDonald’s Field experience in a restaurant-facing role is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data wrangling, statistical analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, R, Python).
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across complex stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity.

Salary Range
Salary Ranges- $98,140.00 - $125,130.00
