Job Description:

The Lease Team in Global Business Services (GBS) currently has an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in a position that offers a detailed perspective on McDonald’s real estate, franchisee accounting, and lease finance operations processes. The manager role will support the Global Lease Accounting Workstream within GBS Operations, including driving the required collaboration, decision-making, and escalations to facilitate the necessary workstream and program actions and outcomes across the Global Finance Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set strategy and framework for Lease Accounting process design activities, including alignment on methods, templates, and confirming adherence to global standard processes
  • Coordinate tasks and communication between resources across the organization to support Lease Accounting processes
  • Coordinate and engage with key cross-workstream internal partners to streamline interactions while maintaining line of sight to dependencies required for success 
  • Support Vendor and Project management resources related to Lease Finance Operations to ensure delivering expected results, driving value and strong engagement
  • Provide project management support, keeping track of plans, quality standards, deliverables, and dependencies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA a plus
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working within an accounting or finance function
  • People management experience and strong desire to develop employees
  • Strong project management, organizational experience; ability to manage multiple tasks /projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different disciplines, levels and cultures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Process Improvement and continuous learning mind-set
  • Advanced in MS Excel including PivotTables and VLOOKUP and proficient in PowerPoint
  • IBM TRIRIGA experience is a plus
