Job Description:

Proper Change Management is a critical success factor in growth at McDonald's. We support Change at McDonald's through our Change Center of Excellence (COE). The Change COE partners with leaders to enable the human side of transformation, ensuring people adopt the changes needed to promote the long-term success of our business. As a member of the Change COE, you will be a part of a team building change capability across the Enterprise. You'll succeed by being a seeker of innovation, a self-starter, and a collaborative strategic partner for our customers. We'll ensure you have the tools to take advantage of the growth opportunities we're excited to provide.

McDonald's Change COE is seeking a Manager of Change Management to drive the development and deployment of change interventions using our framework and methodology.

The immediate need is for support on our Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement Modernization (GI Mod). Future assignments may span other McDonald's functional areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or participate in change management projects
  • Leverage our Change Management methodology, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design of training programs
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Analyze data-driven insights to adapt and accelerate change
  • Drive Adoption with One McDonald's Way of Doing Change
  • Maintain an understanding of Change and broader McDonald's strategy and priorities
  • Work closely with program stakeholders, other McDonald’s employees, and third-party practitioners to ensure an understanding of the Change Framework
  • Advise and coach functional leaders on Change Management
  • Support the growth of Change knowledge across the Enterprise
  • Gain an understanding of Change Framework and support training of partners, practitioners, and business leaders

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860 - $143,900 per year

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational change management, business management, human resources, or related field
  • Five years minimum experience in change management is required
  • Intermediate level change management skills
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Proficient with MS PowerPoint, Word, and collaborative technologies
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience designing and executing detailed change plans
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business management, human resources, or related field
  • Experience leading or supporting enterprise-level change for large, complex digital or operating model transformation programs
  • Data-driven mindset and strong process design skills
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Creating deliverables that require cross-function collaboration and socialization
  • Ability to provide strategic guidance to business leaders for low - and medium-complexity change programs
  • Experience with creative applications to develop visually compelling stories
  • Experience in Source-to-Pay processes and Indirect Procurement
