Position Summary

The Global Supply Chain Manager - Resiliency is responsible for enhancing the organization's capacity to handle supply chain disruptions. This individual contributor role focuses on the development, simplification, and governance of contingency policies and resiliency processes across the global supply chain. The role also supports long-term strategy development and monitors KPI’s to ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and measurable progress.

Key Responsibilities

Resiliency Policy & Process Management

  • Maintain the Global Contingency Policy, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs.
  • Evaluate, clarify, and simplify existing resiliency processes across categories and markets (e.g., Contingency readiness, Resiliency Assessment). Develop, lead, and maintain related tools, communication, and training efforts.
  • Consolidate, maintain, and evolve content shared across Resiliency website and multiple Teams sites.

Strategic Resiliency Planning

  • Contribute to the development of resiliency strategies, objectives, and future planning.
  • Support expansion of risk assessment capabilities and market rollouts of digital tools.
  • Partner with digitalization teams on Resiliency enabling tools such as CapCon and the Contingency Management platform.

Data & Reporting

  • Manage disruption data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify and communicate emerging risks to internal stakeholders.
  • Advise on resiliency goal setting, metrics, and track progress against resiliency KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with category leads, market teams, technology teams, sustainability, risk management, and other global supply chain functions to integrate resiliency into our supply chain.
  • Drive Resiliency Supplier Advisory Group (RSAG), utilizing McDonald's 3-legged stool for disruption horizon scanning and insights on emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with the Planning, Alignment & Communications team to report on resiliency initiatives.
  • Support Risk Management team in addressing future risks identified in the Horizon Scanning process.
  • Collect lessons learned through postmortem with Functional Crisis Management Teams and incorporate insights into future resiliency capabilities.
  • Participate in priority workstreams establishing capabilities that enhance resiliency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or risk management.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn and function independently in uncertain situations.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead without direct authority.
  • Experience with digital supply chain tools, predictive risk tools, anticipatory risk monitoring and data platforms is beneficial.
  • Experience with various food categories, risk management or resiliency engineering is a plus.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $112,860.00 - $143,900.00

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other job-related factors.
