Job Description:The Global Technology Employee Experience Digital Products team focuses on People and Operations Technology platforms within McDonald’s restaurants. These responsibilities are critical to our greatest asset - our People! The Project Manager will partner cross functionally to identify, measure and address opportunities and develop initiative strategies. The Project Manager will develop and deploy innovative engagement solutions in the US and Globally aligned with our restaurant HR and Operations strategies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and multiple product roadmaps toward the successful execution/delivery of multiple projects including the system-wide engagement tool to modernize the way we connect with our crew and managers.
The Project Manager will also be expected to apply tried technical product management processes in close collaboration with business partners, vendors, team members, and various IT functions. The Project Manager will assume end-to-end initiative accountability to deliver the functional requirements defined by a cross functional team. The ideal candidate also can accommodate flex hours based on country time zones.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Advise and lead technical project delivery from beginning to end - the integration, implementation, administration, global deployment and support of the employee engagement platform
- Lead cross-functional teams including consultants and vendors to provide holistic approach to owning the implementation and global rollout of the employee engagement solution
- Build relationships by collaborating to establish and maintain solution delivery in a geographically dispersed environment
- Managing product roadmaps - continuously prioritize bug fixes and optimization features, delivering the highest value features first and making calculated trade-offs
- Liaise with functional business partners to ensure continual roadmap alignment with other organizational pivotal initiatives
- Provide project performance and progress reporting to various project partners including executive leadership with a focus on business benefit realization
- Interface, coordinate, and communicate project interdependencies with other Technology functional and business areas in timely and proactive manner
- Monitor risks throughout the project delivery and provide proactive steps to address them
- Excellent skills in building and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Solid understanding and experience of project management methodologies and tools (Agile Experience preferred)
- Undergraduate Degree
- Strong organizational skills, and ability to deliver quality outputs within tight deadlines
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- 5+ years’ of experience in project management, including robust capabilities to translate user needs into product features, into successful project delivery
- Subject matter authority who brings a strong perspective on employee engagement and understands its role within the broader employee experience vision McDonald’s is trying to achieve
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and communication skills
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft office Suite, Project Management Software
