Duties
The Director, Value & Affordability will be responsible for:
- Delivering against mass affordability business impact goals and KPIs
- Sets strategy for the mass affordability portfolio, including definition of:
- consumer needs
- mass everyday affordability platforms
- national short-term mass promotions
- incorporation of value & affordability priorities into enterprise marketing strategies and platforms,
- phase planning lead for Value
- Leads XF partnership on Mass Value Strategy execution; including close collaboration with all marketing XF teams and RGM
- Recommends calendar support/sequencing for Mass value
- Partners with Field Marketing in developing and evolving mass value plans
- Key Marketing partner forRevenue Growth Management
- Partners with Global Teams in realizing the future of Affordability vision
- Lead OPNAD Value Committee/Operator partner
Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to live the McDonald’s values every day: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family
- 10+ years of experience in marketing / brand management / strategy
- 10+ years of experience developing marketing (creative, digital, business, etc.) briefs and evaluating work against the brief to achieve the desired business and marketing goals
- Experience developing and executing consumer-centric growth strategies
- High comfort with ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to bring clarity and direction to complex topics
- Experience directing/leading XF teams to execute business priorities
- Experience leading highly visible and influential Operator committees
- Exceptional influence and collaboration skills, including on sensitive topics, including with Operators
- Strong commercial mindset and understanding of the business/P&L
- Experience building a System plan (across national and local)
- Field Marketing experience beneficial
- Digital experience beneficial

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $168,212.00 - $210,265.00 per year
