Department Overview

Duties
- Support deployment of leading practice S2C and R2I policies, processes and capabilities, driving efficiencies and enhancing effectiveness across the Procurement lifecycle.
- Work with Global Markets to gather local insights, feedback, and design requirements related to all Indirect processes.
- Facilitate coordination and communication with teams, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead the design and deployment of technology solutions and architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs and broader GBS program objectives.
- Gather and translate requirements into functional specifications for technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to develop transformation key deliverables including market specific processes, standard operating procedures, key artifacts to support design, review training content, etc.
- Provide support for cutover activities, as well as hypercare strategies and activities to stabilize the organization post-go-live.
- Provide support and guidance to S2C and R2I process leads, ensuring alignment with program objectives and priorities.
- Provide guidance and support to the S2C and R2I process leads in their respective roles, fostering professional development and growth opportunities.
- Act as a catalyst for change and organization readiness, promoting the adoption of new processes and solutions across McDonald’s.
- Manage and support the identification and prioritization of process improvement opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.
Monitor progress against key performance Indicators (KPIs) and escalate risks or issues to the GI Mod Program Lead as needed for timely resolution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-year degree, MBA preferred
- 18+ years of relevant experience in procurement and/or supply chain in a highly complex environment and Global landscape
- 12+ years’ proven experience in leading, managing, and developing teams. Experience working in diverse, multicultural teams or with international stakeholders, showing excellent communication skills
- Extensive experience in Sourcing & Procurement, with a strong understanding of Indirect Procurement processes, including Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Requisition-to-Invoice (R2I).
- Proven track record of leading complex process transformation initiatives, with a focus on driving tangible business outcomes and delivering organizational value.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable plans and initiatives, driving alignment and execution across multiple workstreams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Experience driving continuous improvement efforts within solutions, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Experience in conducting influential discussions with executive leaders
