U.S. Supply Chain

Duties

The U.S. Food Safety & Quality Systems Team is part of the North America Supply Chain function that enables the McDonald's System to connect customers with food they love and trust. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops and acts as a US FSQS data authority responsible for the daily oversight, management, analyses, and reporting for multiple information and compliance databases.
  • Translates data/metrics into scorecards and other team needs to aid in driving FSQS performance across the 3LS.
  • Continuously improves and optimizes the USFSQS team's capability to run performance, while proactively seeking says to improve data accuracy and integrity.
  • Builds positive relationships within the USFSQS team as well as developing relationships with all of US Supply Chain and key collaborators across the 3LS, establishing and building open lines of communication.
  • Provides ongoing information and compliance database mentor and training ensuring multi-functional team and 3LS engagement.
  • Leads self and provides lateral or informal leadership across the 3LS

Key Needs of the Role:

  • FSQS performance tracking and reporting, owning the delivery, summary, and analysis of relevant information, enabling the USFSQS team to develop appropriate strategies in areas such as supplier, distributor, restaurant, and product performance metrics, compliance to US and Global standards, etc.
  • Anticipates current and changing business needs, collaborates in the development, execution, and reporting of the department plan and scorecard/critical metric measurements.
  • Maintains and applies all global and US databases (e.g. OnPoint, Product Incident Database) with accountability for tracking tools development and improvement.
  • Provides oversight and daily management of McDonald's Produce Lifecycle Management tools, with specific focus on verifying global and US governance compliance, actively leading issues and finding consensus solutions.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology and data systems, bringing Innovation & Technology ideas and potential solutions to the team.

 

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Food Science degree with shown ability in Quality Systems or the food industry.
  • Proficient in sophisticated Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experienced in building and leading dashboards using PowerBI.
  • Understand organizational project, program, and product lifecycle management concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Tech-savvy with a readiness to learn and foster new technologies, including AI assistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully work well with FSQS team members, supply chain, and others across the system

Salary Range

Salary Ranges-$87,050 - $108,810
