Duties

Principal Responsibilities

Functional

  • Quality Center Operations
  • Sensory Program Leadership
  • Cross-Functional Product Improvements and Product Approvals
  • Training and Market Calibrations
  • Innovation and Improvement 

People/Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams (Quality Systems, Menu, Equipment, RSG)
  • Lead through influence and represent the Global Quality Center with credibility and professionalism to internal and external stakeholders
  • Be an active member of the Global Sensory Team (GST) to ensure global alignment and calibration

Qualifications

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/ Technology, Quality Systems, Food Service or a related scientific field (required)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in food industry (e.g.: Quality Systems/Management, Product Development, Sensory /Consumer Insights) ; knowledge of the McDonald’s system is a plus
  • Experience leading or facilitating sensory evaluation and applying insights to food products is preferred
  • Occasional travel may be required, depending on role involvement in related initiatives
