Are you ready to bring your commercial acumen to the heart of one of Australia's most recognised businesses? We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Field Finance, this is a key operational leadership role delivering financial strategy, insights and support across restaurant operations in multiple regions. You'll partner closely with internal stakeholders, banking partners and franchisees to drive financial integrity, operational efficiency and alignment with our broader business strategy with a real focus on enabling data-driven commercial decisions and growing franchisee financial health.
What you can expect on a day-to-day basis:
- Leading the regional finance function, setting and executing financial goals aligned to broader business objectives
- Assessing the financial health of potential operators to inform franchising decisions, and managing financial onboarding, due diligence and compliance
- Representing commercial priorities within state representative committees
- Driving initiatives to improve profitability and the financial health of licensees across your regions
- Setting restaurant economics to deliver profitable, sustainable portfolio outcomes
- Delivering performance analysis, insights and reporting that inform commercial decisions
- Providing day-to-day financial advice and support to franchisees, resolving queries with pace and professionalism
- Contributing to margin improvement, cost optimisation and capital allocation strategies
- Preparing Performance Decks for Quarterly Business Meetings and supporting the Finance and Supply Chain Committee
- Championing financial systems and integrations to lift reporting, forecasting and efficiency
- Coaching and developing junior team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
Your keys to success:
- Experience leading small teams, with a passion for developing othersStrong commercial acumen and a track record of business partnering across finance and operational functions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - you can turn financial data into insight people act on
- Solid financial modelling and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to develop and influence strategic initiatives and outcomes
- CPA or CA qualified (or working towards), with 3+ years' experience in commercial or field finance roles preferred
