Job Description:

We are looking for an Associate Business Technical Analyst to join the HR Solutions team who has hands on experience with the Achievers product (Shine) we use for our Global (US, Corporate and Market) employee social recognition program. This analyst will partner with our business teams, the application vendor and our technical team and implement sound business solutions. We would like the candidate to have strong communication skills and work in an agile environment for the monthly enhancements to the application.

As an Associate Business Technical Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth. This role will provide executive-level communication and analysis on an as-needed basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with business partners to gather and document data and analytics requirements.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications for technical teams.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value.
  • Working closely with technical team to ensure the availability, accuracy, and quality of data.
  • Participating in data modeling and design discussions to support the development of data solutions.
  • Author and build design artifacts such as: Functional design specifications, source to data mapping and process and data flow diagrams,
  • Developing and maintaining data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for business users.
  • Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate data and analytics solutions against business requirements.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems and identify integration, alignment and improvement opportunities,
  • Handle the day-to-day operations of the platform, including handling the AMS team,
  • Providing support and training to business users on data tools, reports, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to ensure the accurate implementation and integration of data solutions.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in data and analytics to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability and flexibility to coordinate and work with teams distributed across time zones, as needed.

 

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, strategy, finance, data analytics, IT, or related fields
    • Technical/functional expertise in one or several of the following areas: management consulting, financial analysis, public policy, operations research
    • Ability to influence senior leaders and peers without direct authority.
    • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple Global partners.
    • Proficiency in data querying and data analysis over large data sets, using SQL.
    • Superb communication skills to optimally collaborate with business partners and technical teams.
    • Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems.
    • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data management principles
