Could you be our next Assistant Accountant - STP?

In this role, you will be at the heart of our finance department, ensuring all payments for Australia and New Zealand run smoothly. You will use your high level of attention to detail and customer service skills to support our suppliers and wider Source-To-Pay function. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
*     Weekly payment runs for AU & NZ as well as ad hoc payments
*     Foreign exchange invoice payments including booking currencies, settling deals using rates to process payments
*     Maintaining, analysing and reconciling accounts payable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports 
*     Correcting Import Errors and proactively addressing the root cause of upload discrepancies
*     Allocating and matching payments for refunds received and payments to suppliers, from our Accounts Payable bank account
*     Supporting the STP Supervisor with month-end close and monthly payment times reporting
*     Managing property insurance claims and liaising with our insurance provider to best support company owned restaurant insurance and business interruption claims
*     Monthly invoice validation and reconciliation of stores electricity charges
*     Supporting and maintaining a strong business relationship with our offshore team of invoice processors and staff expense administrators

Your keys to success:

*     Strong Microsoft Excel and Office knowledge
*     A high level of attention to detail and efficiency
*     1+ years of accounting experience 
*     strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
*     Strong in analytical thinking, problem solving and attention to detail
