Job Description
About the Role
The Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our Acquisition team across the UK & Ireland. You’ll help manage transaction information, supplier invoicing/payment and the systems that underpin our development and construction activity. Working closely with internal teams and global partners, you’ll ensure our property records are accurate, our governance processes are followed, and our reporting is meaningful and actionable.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in property administration, real estate data, construction support, or estate management who is looking to broaden their exposure across development and construction. You’ll contribute to project delivery and the smooth running of our development function within a fast‑paced, global organisation.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Development Team by maintaining property and project records, tracking commitments and expenditure and assisting with budget monitoring and reporting.
- Coordinate contracts, tenders, and procurement activities, ensuring documentation is accurate, milestones are tracked and governance requirements are met.
- Manage development and construction data systems including document uploads, version control, user access, and audit readiness.
- Provide organisational support to the Acquisition team, including planning meetings, preparing materials, managing logistics, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Surveyor Support and Supplier Invoicing
- In conjunction with the Acquisitions team ensure that our suppliers are correctly set up for each project to ensure smooth payment of invoices.
- Support Acquisition Surveyors with project set up and compliance requirements in line with the standards of a global business.
- Work with Finance partners to facilitate cost capture and smooth payment of supplier invoices.
Reporting, Insights & Compliance
- Contribute to reporting and dashboard development with global and market teams.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Provide data inputs for new store development and construction tracking.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings and support Development’s interactions with the wider business
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with purchase‑ordering platforms (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and data validation skills.
- Proficiency with reporting and analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and functions.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Capability to use own initiative and self-motivation.
