Job Description:

Located in our Chicago office Headquarters, this role is a critical component of the company’s overall transformation efforts. This position will support the development of pricing and go to market strategy in market including creating targeting schemas and segmentation approaches in collaboration with the data analysts, synthesizing information on market trends, and customer preferences to provide recommendations on existing pricing tactics, strategies and approaches. This role requires them to i exercise influential leadership with key partners including vendor partners, and market pricing and marketing teams

Responsibilities

  • Part of the team executing Short-term and Longer-term pricing strategy across global regions
  • Support the Director and Senior Director in making strategic decisions - be accountable for outcomes and results from execution of strategy in market.
  • Support development of market research and intelligence to develop go to market strategies across customer segments optimizing margin and sales.
  • Use data to develop analysis, recommendations and strategies to optimize and grow long term shareholder value.
  • Support multiple projects and initiatives- cross functionally lead multiple teams comprised of members from other functions, markets and vendors.
Qualifications:

Must be fully vaccinated (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) for COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.

The ideal candidate must be a business partner with outstanding communication skills who exhibit an ability to form relationships across a sophisticated and global organization.

As well as possess the following attributes, skills and professional experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in finance, marketing or other business functions supporting development and execution of go-to market, pricing and related business strategy. MBA from a top business school preferred. Ideally have previous strategy experience from a management consulting firm preferred.
  • Ideally, has had responsibility for end-to-end rollout of initiatives in a cross functional setting
  • Strong leadership capabilities. Ability to be a though leader, manage relationships with vendors and influence corporate and functional executives.
  • Strong analytical & strategic skills to synthesize marketing and pricing information to draw insights and measurable recommendations (e.g. structure the problem, collect data, identify issues, and present results)
  • Proven successes in persuading decision makers to adopt new ways of thinking and execution that help propel the business forward.
