Job Description:The Sr Manager, Everyday Affordability Platform is responsible for partnering with US Mkting in defining and executing the Everyday Affordability Platform in alignment of its broader role/goal within the US RGM Strategy. In addition, the Sr Manager, Everyday Affordability Platform assesses its performance on an ongoing basis, defining any adjustments needed to stay aligned to the broader role/goal. This role partners closely with US Marketing to sell-in the strategy and report on the business case and performance to US SLT and key O/O leadership groups. Additionally, this role will define how the Everyday Affordability Platform and its Menu items should be priced and discounted across other value levers in partnership with the other US RGM teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- In alignment with broader RGM strategy, defines role/goal of the Everyday Affordability Platform and defines the US Strategy for the EDAP menu/construct
- Identifies the need for consumer research including conjoint research to define the ideal EDAP platform/menu/construct and partners with Global RGM, SIP, and US Marketing to execute and evaluate the research
- Owns McValue Menu pricing guardrails and recommendations in alignment with parameters set by the global RGM team focusing (including how menu items should be incorporated in Digital discounting and loyalty)
- Assesses EDAP pricing parameters and key "sustainability" KPI’s to communicate (up front) the exit plan/strategy (e.g. when price points would/should change)
- Partners with Marketing to sell-in recommendation to US SLT, key O/O leadership / the system
- Business case development and ongoing assessment of performance of the EDAP
- Competitive assessment of EDAP strategy across competitors & performance
- Supports / evaluates the need to evolve or add (including temporary visitors) to EDAP
- Regularly assesses KPI’s and adherence to platform guardrails/principles nationally and by BU
- Supports OPNAD Value Committee & MEC and NPSAG
- 5 years minimum experience required, 3+ years in consulting, client services and/or pricing advisory or strategy
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or Masters in Finance, Economics, Math preferred
- Analytic Insight: Capability and experience analyzing large amounts of data using multiple data sources, develop analysis templates/tools and synthesize various learnings into actionable recommendations
- Knowledge of pricing and promotion dynamics, multi-tier pricing environment, long term impact of pricing decisions
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Experience working with Tableau and/or other data visualization
